KLYPRIM® Injectable Solution is a broad-spectrum veterinary antimicrobial for cattle, combining Trimethoprim and Sulfadiazine for the effective treatment of systemic bacterial infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. It is administered by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection for reliable systemic action.

KLYPRIM® Injectable Solution is a sterile, broad-spectrum antimicrobial formulation designed for the treatment of systemic bacterial infections in cattle. It combines Trimethoprim and Sulfadiazine, two synergistic antibacterial agents that inhibit successive steps in bacterial folic acid synthesis, resulting in enhanced bactericidal activity.

Active substances:

Sulfadiazine: 200 mg

Trimethoprim: 40 mg

Excipients:

N-methyl pyrrolidone: 530 mg

Chlorocresol: 1 mg

Sodium Formaldehyde Sulphoxylate Dihydrate: 1 mg

Dosage and Administration
Administer 1 ml of KLYPRIM® per 16 kg body weight, by intramuscular (IM) injection or slow intravenous (IV) injection.

Indications
KLYPRIM® Injectable Solution is indicated for the treatment of systemic infections caused by, or associated with, microorganisms sensitive to the Trimethoprim–Sulfadiazine combination. Its antimicrobial spectrum includes a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, making it suitable for the management of diverse bacterial infections in cattle.
